We are looking for a Workday Financials Functional Lead to join our client team in London. This newly created role will support the deployment of Workday into the remaining global entities, while building on the existing functionality and supporting existing users. Ideally, you will have demonstrable proven experience of leading Workday projects or other Finance systems. Previous Workday certifications are an advantage. Solid experience in a Workday Analyst role, with strong transactional experience and involvement in multiple system implementation projects with integrations.
Workday Support Desk Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day system administration, including security, configuration, and design of Workday Financials.
- Maintain and develop business processes across all Workday Financials modules, including core financials and expenses.
- Provide support to end-users through Jira, answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with external Workday consultants and oversee support tickets, ensuring proper change management and testing.
- Engage with community, end-users, and senior finance members to assess needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions and document outcomes, including designing process flows.
- Manage bi-annual releases, implement new functionalities, and ensure successful delivery through planning and testing.
- Stay current with industry trends to identify system improvements.
- Lead workshops to communicate and train users in Workday transactions.
- Identify local regulations requiring exceptions within the global template.
- Understand Workday best practices and communicate constraints to stakeholders.
- Perform functional testing of solutions to ensure requirements are met.
- Produce testing scripts and support process documentation.
- Contribute to Change Management initiatives for effective adoption.
- Perform additional duties as required to meet business needs.
