Job Title: Clinical Operations Lead
Duration: 6 months with scope to extend
Location: Welwyn Garden City – 2 days in office
Join us as a Contract Clinical Operations Lead and be part of our client\’s bold vision to deliver 20 transformative medicines addressing diseases with the highest societal burden.
Our client, a pioneer in healthcare, has been committed to improving lives since their foundation in 1896. Today, they create innovative medicines and diagnostic tests that help millions of patients globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures the timely and efficient delivery of all operational aspects of one or more studies through all phases and stages (start-up, conduct and closedown), in accordance with the appropriate quality standards including ICH/GCP and applicable regulations
- Represents the UK on the global study team
- Responsible for site relations and recruitment in country of origin
- Provides direction and leadership to the local study team, including Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) to ensure delivery of the study
- Collaborate with local Medical Affairs (MA) colleagues with a shared mindset.
- Collaborate with the relevant country PDG colleagues (if applicable) to ensure timely feasibility, start-up, site payments etc
- Ensure timely delivery of the study within the UK while ensuring quality and compliance and diversity plan
- Drives study timelines, budget, risk, and operational study plans including inclusive research or diversity plans, while ensuring quality and compliance
- Partner with other PDG colleagues (global and country) to respond any IRB, Health Authorities and Ethics Committees questions and audits; ensuring best practices, issues escalation, and consistency throughout the study
