We are currently seeking a candidate responsible for unloading and loading vehicles, ensuring information has been uploaded to various systems for the effective movement of dry goods, and managing all aspects of raw materials, equipment, and safe operation of assigned tasks.
Position details:
- Shift: 2 x 8 hours (0600-1400/1400-2200)
- Pay: £12.21 per hour (pending review)
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a professional and trusted advisor to the Dry Stores First Line Manager & Advanced Operative in all Goods in/out activities.
- Engaging with and coordinating with broader teams (other sites, HSE Departments) to facilitate production goals.
- Applying financial rigor to all production activities to ensure value for money.
- Loading and unloading materials safely.
- Maintaining tidy areas, keeping pathways and entrances clear.
- Completing paperwork for loading/unloading and conducting food safety and integrity checks.
- Checking product labelling diligently and reporting anomalies.
