SBS are looking for a Key Account Manager who is proactive, organised, and confident in building strong relationships with clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial, contractual, and relationship aspects of a portfolio of clients while also driving revenue growth through strategic upselling, cross-selling, and the acquisition of new business opportunities. You will act as a key point of contact, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, ensure account objectives are met, and identify areas for continued collaboration and growth. You will play a key role in expanding SBS’s presence within existing accounts by aligning our services with client priorities, while also identifying and engaging new clients to drive incremental value and revenue growth. This is a visible and varied role that involves managing important relationships, supporting delivery outcomes, and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet client expectations.
What will the role involve?
- Executing the sales strategy through new business acquisition, upselling, cross-selling, and expanding share of wallet within key accounts.
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal stakeholders to align with commercial goals and client priorities.
- Designing and executing tailored account strategies that align closely with client priorities, driving mutual value and long-term growth opportunities.
- Championing client satisfaction through proactive issue resolution, ensuring challenges are addressed swiftly and constructively to maintain trust and long-term partnership value.
- Sharing insights and knowledge with the broader sales and client services teams.

- A strong grasp of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and value-based selling, combined with the ability to drive upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities effectively.
- Proven experience in managing client relationships within account management or other client-facing roles, ideally in the technology or financial services sectors, with a focus on delivering value and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Strong command of the sales lifecycle and client engagement strategies, with the ability to tailor approaches that drive revenue growth and deepen client commitment.
- A practical, solutions-oriented communicator, skilled in analysing challenges with the ability to present ideas effectively both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.
