Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international energy trading house looking to onboard a carbon trader located in their London based office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate and execute proprietary trades in EU ETS allowances (EUAs) and related carbon products
  • Monitor regulatory and market developments to identify and capitalise on trading opportunities
  • Develop and manage risk strategies, ensuring compliance with internal risk parameters
  • Build relationships with counterparties, brokers, and regulatory bodies across Europe
  • Collaborate closely with analysts and renewable origination teams to optimise cross-commodity strategies
Required Experience:
  • 3–7 years of experience trading EU ETS or other carbon/emissions products
  • Strong understanding of European energy and carbon regulation, particularly the EU ETS framework
  • Proven P&L track record with clear risk management discipline
  • Existing network across counterparties, brokers, and relevant stakeholders in the emissions market
