Position Overview: Gravity is looking for an Exchange Engineer to join our client’s global support team to provide engineering and technical support solutions for the end user computing environment. This individual will be a subject matter expert for Exchange Online and support of Email related systems and security. The successful candidate will possess 2+ years of experience supporting messaging, collaboration, and mobile services to internal associates. Our client is a global investment management firm.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day support for M365 with core focus on E-Mail services to ensure secure, proper and efficient operation. This will also include out of hours maintenance activities and 24/7 on-call support on rotation.
- Ensuring the successful design and operational delivery of E-Mail and M365 services.
- Maintain a secure M365 environment by being proactive and responsive to security vulnerabilities and implementation of security controls.
- Continuously seek improvement and develop UEC services to provide efficiencies and document configurations, knowledgebase articles, and processes.
- Implement resilient solutions and participate in disaster recovery tests to ensure business continuity plans are viable.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 2+ years of experience implementing and administering Exchange Online (M365).
- 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting Exchange Server 2016 and 2019 in an enterprise hybrid environment.
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and administering using PowerShell.
- 2+ years of experience migrating from on-premise Exchange to M365 and tenant to tenant migrations.
- 2+ years of experience supporting and administering email security products and practices, experience using ProofPoint preferred.
