Salary: Circa £28,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
About the Role: As Stockman, you’ll be responsible for the daily care and management of our poultry flocks. From feeding and health checks to maintaining clean and safe housing, your work will directly support the health and productivity of our birds.
Your Key Duties Will Include:
- Daily flock checks and welfare monitoring
- Feeding, bedding, and general husbandry
- Identifying and reporting signs of ill health
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and biosecurity
- Accurate record-keeping
- Operating farm machinery (training can be provided if needed)
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with livestock (poultry experience preferred but not essential)
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings on a rota basis
- Tractor or telehandler experience a bonus
