The Opportunity
Due to sustained business growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-driven Manufacturing Engineer to join our Operations Team. You will have the opportunity to work across the site, collaborating with Research & Development, Quality, Production Engineering and Operations to drive innovation and efficiency. Focusing on supporting in the transition of products from development through to production as well as supporting in the lifecycle management of existing Products.
What you will do:
- Collaborating with R&D and Production Engineering during the design and prototype phases
- Supporting Design for Manufacture to ensure smooth product transitions into production
- Ensure consistent adherence to the product development processes.
- Lead the design transfer process of products from R&D to manufacturing, ensuring readiness and risk-mitigated transitions.
- Ensuring manufacturing readiness for new product development in collaboration with R&D and Production Engineering.
- Working cross-functionally with departments including R&D, Quality and Production Engineering
- Driving improvements in existing operations in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Supporting the creation and updates of risk management documentation
What Essentials you bring
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Product or Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- 2 Years experience in a quality engineering role, with a focus on new product integration, or related areas.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a strong understanding of the product development lifecycle.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory standards such as ISO 9001 (ISO 13485 is a plus.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Risk Management including FMEA's both in product development and production
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and technical drawing interpretation.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with cross-functional teams.
