The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

Provide reactive and proactive engineering support to the Wing Plant to ensure timely wing delivery to Final Assembly Lines (FALs).

Lead design investigations and deliver technical solutions, including structural and systems modifications for production, cost, and quality improvements.

Authorise and approve design changes such as Major/Minor Design Modifications, Design Query Notes, and Flow Modifications.

Ensure all design solutions meet airworthiness, design, and safety requirements while integrating with manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Act as a Design Authorisation signatory and provide expert governance on technical issues.

Promote the MEET (Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Together) ethos through cross-functional collaboration.

Mentor and support the development of engineering team members and assist in closing skills gaps.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing team efficiency, processes, and capabilities.

Maintain and promote lessons learned and feedback mechanisms for design improvement.

Communicate clearly and proactively on critical technical issues to stakeholders and functional management.

Collaborate with CVE, Chief Engineer, Configuration Management, and Programme Teams to ensure integrated and certifiable design solutions.

Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, resilience, innovation, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
