Exciting New Opportunity with a Leading Main Building and Civils Contractor

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is proud to present an exceptional chance for an ambitious and experienced Estimator to join our client\’s thriving Civils division in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

About the Role

As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in assisting with analytical cost estimates and tenders, from initial enquiry to tender submission, on large-scale Civils projects valued up to £10 million.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing projects efficiently to meet deadlines
• Reporting price variations effectively to ensure successful project delivery

This is a permanent office-based position, allowing for a stable and secure career path without the need for extensive travel within the UK.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Degree-educated in a construction-related discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in an estimating role, preferably within the Civils sector
• Proven track record of tendering and winning build projects
• Strong understanding of construction processes and procedures
• Able to deliver all aspects of the role efficiently and to a consistently high standard
• Confident and outgoing personality, with excellent communication skills for dealing directly with clients and their design teams
