What you will do:

  • Build and refactor PHP 8 / MySQL tooling for 100 GB-scale market-data systems
  • Design secure REST / micro-service APIs in Laravel, Symfony or similar
  • Containerise services in Docker and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
  • Deploy features on-site in London, New York, Hong Kong and beyond
  • Work inside a fast-moving Agile squad and ship green-field projects

What you will need:

  • Recent degree (or final-year) in Computer Science, Maths or related field
  • Industry / placement experience in web back-end development or solid experience with PHP in a University project
  • Proven projects with PHP + MySQL; comfortable with large data sets
  • Working knowledge of another back-end language (Node, Python, etc.)
  • Understanding of OOP, API design, testing and web-app security
  • Self-starter mindset and a genuine desire to travel
