Open Fibre Networks (OFNL), part of the BUUK Group, are looking for a Fibre Field Technician who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”. This role will be covering all of Suffolk, as well as Colchester.
We require all our Fibre Field Technicians to have their criminal records checked through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). This is due to the nature of the role going into customers’ homes. This is in accordance with the BUUK Recruitment of Ex-Offenders Policy.
Your Key Responsibilities Are:
- Maintenance of OFNL’s network equipment
- Site audits against network design standards and specifications
- Act as an OFNL representative and provide escort for third party access
- Provide ‘remote hands’ for NOC engineering teams
- Offer support to Field Engineers
- Create and maintain OFNL documentation
About You:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Understanding of Telecoms
- Self-motivated and an eagerness to learn
- Excellent customer service skills
