About the Role
We're looking for a Finance Manager to play a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting across a group of international companies, while supporting the Finance Director with day-to-day finance operations. With operations across the UK, USA, Sweden, and Poland, this role offers international exposure and the chance to work in the fast-paced and ever-evolving video game industry - partnering with major platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, and Netflix.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting in accordance with group deadlines.
- Prepare and review revenue and cost accruals, prepayments, and other month-end journals.
- Maintain a consolidation model incorporating multiple UK and overseas entities.
- Collaborate with international teams to ensure month-end accounts are completed on time.
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts; resolve outstanding items promptly.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts monthly.
- Support weekly and monthly cash flow planning.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly royalty reports for third-party developers.
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects and initiatives.
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, including invoice management and vendor/customer queries.
- Ensure bank and credit card reconciliations are up to date and accurate.
- Manage weekly payment runs and monthly payroll processes.
- Liaise regularly with finance contacts in overseas offices.
- File quarterly VAT returns for multiple entities.
- Support the implementation of improved processes and internal controls.
- Monitor departmental costs to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
- Produce monthly reports and analysis for department heads.
- Assist with the annual audit across all group companies.
