About the Role

We're looking for a Finance Manager to play a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting across a group of international companies, while supporting the Finance Director with day-to-day finance operations. With operations across the UK, USA, Sweden, and Poland, this role offers international exposure and the chance to work in the fast-paced and ever-evolving video game industry - partnering with major platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, and Netflix.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting in accordance with group deadlines.
  • Prepare and review revenue and cost accruals, prepayments, and other month-end journals.
  • Maintain a consolidation model incorporating multiple UK and overseas entities.
  • Collaborate with international teams to ensure month-end accounts are completed on time.
  • Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts; resolve outstanding items promptly.
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts monthly.
  • Support weekly and monthly cash flow planning.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly royalty reports for third-party developers.
  • Assist with ad hoc financial projects and initiatives.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, including invoice management and vendor/customer queries.
  • Ensure bank and credit card reconciliations are up to date and accurate.
  • Manage weekly payment runs and monthly payroll processes.
  • Liaise regularly with finance contacts in overseas offices.
  • File quarterly VAT returns for multiple entities.
  • Support the implementation of improved processes and internal controls.
  • Monitor departmental costs to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
  • Produce monthly reports and analysis for department heads.
  • Assist with the annual audit across all group companies.

Candidate Profile

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • Experienced in a high-growth, dynamic business environment.
