Role Overview
Position: Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Central & Greater London (within M25)
Type: Permanent, Full-Time (8am-5pm)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000/year
Call-Out Rota: 1 in 7 weeks (24/7/365 service)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and service commercial and domestic gas systems.
- Troubleshoot heating, hot/cold water systems.
- Handle faults involving pumps, BMS, expansion vessels, and valves.
- Provide support across trades where needed.
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.
Requirements
Essential:
- Strong understanding of commercial/domestic appliances and heating systems.
- Excellent fault-finding ability.
- Commercial gas qualifications (TPCP1 & TPCP1A minimum).
- Gas Safe registration.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Confident using a tablet or PDA.
Desirable:
- Oil qualifications (salary enhancement offered).
- Knowledge of electrical controls and fixed systems.
- Experience with BMS and pressure systems.
