The Field Resource Controller will assist in scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring field operatives to ensure timely and effective deployment as well as contacting and liaising with end-users. This role requires strong organisational skills, clear cross-functional communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Scheduling & Dispatch:
- Call end-customer sites to both arrange and confirm scheduled visits.
- Maintain and drive schedules for field operatives.
- Allocate jobs to available field operatives with consideration to capacity and location.
- Communicate job details clearly and accurately to field operatives.
- Respond to incoming requests for service from field operatives and end-customers and update schedules accordingly.
- Act as a primary point of contact for field operatives and end-customers, providing support and information and act as escalation point.
- Supervise team consisting of Field Operatives and Scheduling Coordinators.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing jobs and update relevant systems.
- Proactively identify, capture and report any potential delays, issues, or discrepancies.
- Ability to liaise across multiple departments and teams.
- Accurately validate call de-briefing data and manage call closures accordingly within the toolset.
- Assist in preparing reports on field activity, job completion rates, and other key metrics.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support the field operations team.
- Interact with clients to confirm appointment details or provide basic updates, under supervision.
