Home, a place where you belong. This is a great job opportunity for an experienced Mid-Market Housing Manager to join Home Group's housing team. As our Housing Manager, you’ll be the face-to-face customer support for our communities. This role is ideal if you enjoy variety and delivering excellent services to our customers and communities.

Typical Day as a Housing Manager:

  • Engage with customers through visibility and proactive estate management to build strong community relationships.
  • Manage several patches and neighborhoods, supported by our Housing Assistants.
  • Proactively manage arrears, voids, and anti-social behaviour, respond to customer queries and complaints, and achieve KPIs.
  • Have knowledge of the First Tier Tribunal and liaise with solicitors for casework preparation.
  • Work with partners, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Conduct estate inspections, meet with contractors on-site, and perform routine safety and compliance checks.
  • Occasionally support our specialist Factored Housing Manager.

You Have:

  • Experience in housing management, understanding of housing law, and ideally knowledge of Universal Credit.
  • Letting Agent Qualification, with at least one year’s experience preferred.
  • Organized, methodical, proactive, and positive attitude.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and genuinely helping customers.
  • Confidence working with external partners such as local authorities and MPs.
  • Enjoy working in teams but comfortable working independently in local estates.

Job Details:

  • Hybrid working: 3 days on-site in Glasgow and some days working from home.
  • Travel will require a vehicle insured for business purposes; mileage paid.
