FOLIE is one of the most exciting London restaurant & bar openings in 2019, located on Golden Square, where Soho meets Mayfair. FOLIE will be open from breakfast to late drinks. The Riviera inspired menu will be designed and executed by the talented Tomasz Michalski formerly of Annabel's and Alain Ducasse. The interior will be modern and glamorous, designed by the world-renowned Studio KO (Chiltern Firehouse and Yves Saint Laurent Museum Marrakech).
We expect our Runners to be energetic and confident working within a busy, fast paced restaurant environment. As a Runner you will be able to take instruction from the senior Chefs and front of house team. A willingness to learn and develop your skills and food and drink knowledge is essential.
The role of a Commis Runner includes:
- Delivery of food to the restaurant in a timely manner
- Effective communication with kitchen and front of house teams to ensure a smooth service
- Preparing mise en place for the bar including juices & smoothies
- Continually developing your knowledge of the menu with the ability to identify dishes
- Ensure that mise en place is stocked prior to service and replenished throughout
- Ensuring the passes are kept clean
- Polishing of cutlery, crockery, silver and glasses
