As a Demi Chef De Partie in Kitchen, you will play a pivotal role in the culinary team, assisting the senior chefs in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Western and Asian-inspired dishes. You will be responsible for leading specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, quality, and presentation. This position requires strong culinary skills, creativity, and a passion for food. Your tasks as a Demi Chef De Partie will include but not be limited to:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking of Asian dishes according to recipes and guidelines provided by senior chefs.
- Lead specific sections of the kitchen, supervising commis chefs and kitchen assistants to ensure smooth operation and timely production of dishes.
- Cook and plate dishes according to established standards, ensuring that all components are prepared and presented with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain high standards of food quality throughout the cooking process, conducting regular taste tests and visual inspections to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and service, maintaining effective communication and teamwork at all times.
