Loughborough Students’ Union is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Team in a casual capacity. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial administration within a dynamic, student-focused organisation.
With particular focus on the additional workload associated with finance year-end, this casual role will support the Senior Accountant in varying aspects of financial administration including:
- Responding to emails received by the office
- Processing purchase orders, invoices, and expenses
- Running reports
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working with numbers. This position is a great stepping stone for students looking to enhance their employability in finance, administration, or office-based roles.
This is a casual position, paid on the LSU Casual Scale (£12.21 per hour plus 12.07% holiday pay). Working hours will vary based on operational need, initially up to 35 hours per week in July, with the possibility of additional work in August and September to support cover for staff holidays.
