Baxter Thetford are looking for an Export and Warehouse Coordinator, responsible for all purchasing activities, the ordering of raw materials and components, stock management, export requirements and ensuring that all supplier orders are received in a timely and compliant manner. This is an interesting and diverse role with multiple areas of responsibility where you will be the first point of contact for internal and external supply queries and it is therefore crucial you have a proven record in communicating with stakeholders and delivering results to a high level. This role is in our Compounding department who manufacture life saving products such as Chemotherapy, Antibiotics and Nutrition. This role is Monday - Friday with the option to work 08:00-16:00 / 18:30-16:30/09:00-17:00.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Raw Materials Planner
    • Control the raw material inventory pipeline to ensure right product, right place, right time for multiple compounding sites.
    • Control all elements of the RM order process, create and send purchase orders to both internal and external suppliers.
    • Review orders and gain approvals.
    • Replenish stock locations when needed.
    • Scheduling deliveries of materials as per orders lead times.
    • Working with suppliers and inbound logistics teams to manage any stock discrepancies or supplier non-deliveries.
    • Proactively communicate and manage any gaps in or risk to supply.
    • Assist in the maintenance and development of computer programs relating to the purchasing and inventory control management.
    • Utilise and correctly apply all the standard operation processes.
  • Export Controller
    • To complete and file export and customs documentation accurately and in a timely manner, according to company SOP.
    • Be responsible for building loads, coordinating transport, preparing and filing Export Documentation.
    • Be responsible for checking, booking in and locating stock for Baxter Ireland Compounding Units.
  • Warehouse Operator
    • Working as part of a cross functional team, you will assist in receiving raw materials on site, storing correctly and retrieving according to business requirements.
    • To receive and book in raw materials.
    • Assist in locating raw materials in both Gate 1 and Gate 2 Warehouse as required.
    • Process and load Baxter finished goods and raw materials for dispatch.

Experience required

  • Experience in an Export/ Warehouse/ Logistics environment is an advantage.
  • Experience in purchasing, order and inventory management and using purchasing and warehouse inventory systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Export Documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Team player.
  • Can embrace change, challenge status quo and make recommendations for improvements to processes and is able to identify tools that help simplify job tasks.
  • Learns quickly and adapts well to change, displaying a high level of situation adaptability.
  • Drives results with urgency and accountability.
