We showcase more than 130 fragrance brands in over 220 stores throughout the UK and online at www.thefragranceshop.co.uk. We are expanding and are looking for a Junior Videographer to join the team and be part of a growing and vibrant brand.

The role: This role will also support the wider company group of brands, working with brands such as Barbour Fragrances, Missguided, House of Vision and IKON to name a few. The successful candidate will be responsible for shooting, editing, and producing high-quality video content that is on brand and eye-catching. Whilst supporting and working collaboratively with the still life photographer. This is a role where you can bring new ideas to the table and experiment with your creativity alongside gaining valuable experience from a forward-thinking marketing department.

YOU:

  • Have experience of videography and photography, focusing on still life / product-based work with knowledge of lighting for both studio and location.
  • Are a go-getter, working easily with wider stakeholders to deliver amazing images.
  • Are creative and curious by nature.
  • Have a proactive and organised attitude – get things done!
  • Have excellent communication and people skills.
  • Keeps a cool head under pressure, this is a fast-paced role!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture, edit, and produce high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, ads, and presentations.
  • Assist in planning and storyboarding video projects from concept through to final cut.
  • Operate and maintain cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, ensuring optimal quality.
  • Collaborate with the design team and photographer to ensure a cohesive final product.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and video production techniques.
  • Organize and maintain video files and project assets.
  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling and brand messaging.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down video shoots, including managing props and set design.
  • Assist on photography BAU & content briefs.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience with video production (e.g., through industry experience, freelance work, or personal projects).
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Understanding of lighting, audio, and camera operation.
  • Photography experience.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
  • A portfolio or reel showcasing your work is required.
