The Impact You’ll Make in this Role: As a Global Site Services Lead in 3M’s Enterprise Workplace Strategy (EWS) function, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people in the company. Here, you will make an impact supporting global transformation and continuous improvement initiatives by:
- Supporting development and implementation of Global Site Services strategic priorities and Integrated Facility Management (IFM) model across 3M’s offices globally.
- Leading initiatives with supplier partners and/or internal cross-functional teams to deliver on process improvements and cost reduction efforts, inclusive of documentation such as process maps, global guidelines or supplier contract input.
- Collaborating with EWS Area Leads and suppliers to identify and address facility management-related challenges and opportunities.
- Facilitating regular cadence with Area & Global leads, including reviews of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of the IFM program or supplier performance.
- Supporting the broader EWS organization with projects and/or supplier management, Procurement contracts & improvement projects.
Your Skills and Expertise: To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Significant combined experience in supplier management, project management, or supplier project/engagement experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Ability to manage multiple projects or process improvements, with proven success over a variety of cross-functional spaces.
- Experience in communicating or presenting to various levels of management.
- Understanding of multiple workstreams and how they come together.
- Demonstrated ability at solving problems that arise.
- Self-starter with leadership skills necessary for managing people & process.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience leading teams through change management.
