Our client is looking for a commercially-minded and articulate individual to join their SJP Practice in its Paraplanning Team as a Junior Paraplanner based in London. You will support 3 Financial Advisers, along with a team of support staff and administrators. This position will be hybrid (4 days in office) and will support training development and provide funding for RO exams, to encourage the candidate to become diploma qualified.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering accurate, well-drafted and compliant advice within agreed timescales and cost budgets
  • Providing technical resource to the adviser team
  • Acting as an effective point of liaison between adviser and support teams
  • Contributing to the continued improvement of the client experience and the firm’s knowledge base
  • Collating regulatory documentation to accompany advice

In order to be able to meet the demands of the role it is anticipated that the successful candidate will:

  • Be willing to study and take RO exams to become Diploma qualified
  • Have worked as a paraplanner or financial administrator previously
  • Have experience of dealing with the common financial planning product solutions
  • Be able to demonstrate their ability to work under pressure
  • Have day-to-day involvement with clients
  • Be capable of drafting concise and accurate correspondence
  • Have previous experience working within an SJP Practice (although not essential)
