Registered Mental Health Nurse Prison Service (Temporary Contract)

Location: Staffordshire

Rate: £27.00 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary (12 weeks)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Start Date: ASAP

Meridian Business Support is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current prison clearance and prison mental health experience for a temporary role at a prison facility in Staffordshire. The successful applicant will join a dedicated mental health team, delivering high-quality care and mental health interventions to individuals within a secure custodial environment. You will be responsible for assessments, care planning, risk management, and supporting service users with complex mental health needs in accordance with clinical and security protocols.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RMN to contribute to a vital service within the criminal justice system, working within a multidisciplinary team to support some of the most vulnerable individuals in society.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) NMC PIN required
  • Prison Clearance must be active and valid
  • Experience in Prison Mental Health essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence clear and valid
