The Roseate Villa Bath occupies a quiet corner of the city, moments’ walk from the heart of the iconic Bath, a city favoured for its heritage and cultural tourism. It is located a few minutes away from attractions like the Roman Baths, Regency Crescent, Bath Abbey, Thermae Bath Spa and the Jane Austen Centre.

The Hotel encompasses two converted Victorian houses which have had a characterful legacy. It exudes a feeling of serenity in and around its grounds and offers wholehearted assistance to its guests who either seek informative excursions around the city or are simply in the mood for a nonchalant weekend getaway in the most beautiful city of Bath.

A warm welcome with tea and cakes, immaculate hospitality, humble service, attention to detail and a genuine connection with every guest makes a guest’s experience a very memorable one.

We are now looking for a full-time F&B Assistant ready to join a young and dynamic team for our luxury upscale cocktail bar. The ideal candidate must demonstrate genuine dedication and show a commitment to consistent quality in our products and services.

What we are looking for:

  • Passionate F&B Assistant who can confidently deliver exceptional, 5 star service to guests.
  • Mixology, cocktail and wine knowledge in order to deliver an outstanding product and guest experience.
  • Exceptional service standards.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver warmth, charm and hospitality which will engage the guests and the team.
  • Real pride and passion for what you do, with the ability to build rapport and long term relationships with guests.
  • Bags of personality, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring a professional, friendly and courteous service to all guests.
  • Delivering a warm welcome and taking food & drink orders accurately.
  • Being familiar with product offering (i.e. the menu, beverages on offer, wine list, etc).
  • Serving guests’ orders efficiently and in accordance with the bar’s standard of presentation.
  • Preparing the Bar for tomorrow’s Breakfast service and taking Breakfast orders.

You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position and be in possession of a current work visa. In line with the requirements set by the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
