Goodyear UK are looking for a Business Account Manager responsible for managing and growing relationships with key fleet customers and developing a new business pipeline within the UK Fleet Market. This role involves developing account plans, identifying opportunities for growth, and acting as a liaison between both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving ability, a deep understanding of business operations, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
The main purpose of this role is to sell and deliver the Goodyear and HiQ Fleet value proposition to fleet customers at all levels.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned business accounts leading business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
- Monitor account specific KPIs with the Network Manager to proactively deliver to customer requirements.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, developing strategic account plans.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders at all levels internally and externally.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Network and develop relationships with large leasing companies and selected local fleets.
- Establish an active pipeline of potential fleet customers through own lead generation to achieve agreed targets.
- Manage all new business account wins through implementation as part of the handover process to the account management team.
- Experience in solution selling and developing new business in a B2B environment.
- Demonstrable track record in new business wins and account management.
- Demonstrable experience in end-to-end contract management through tender to ongoing account management.
- Ability to manage different seniority stakeholders through the end-to-end tender process in a matrix organisation.
- Knowledge of the FN50 market.
- High level experience in contractual negotiations, pricing and profitability analysis.
- Ability to represent GY to customer board level.
- Lead generation & pipeline management.
- Excellent negotiation & Sales Presentation skills.
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- The ability to work from your own initiative with strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (to all levels).
- Tyre and automotive industry experience.
- Understanding of leasing market, long term, daily rental and government bodies.
- Working in large multi-site global organisation.
- Fleet industry knowledge and understanding.
- Public sector knowledge and understanding.
- An understanding of project management.
