Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Employment Law Solicitor in Northampton to join a progressive and forward-thinking law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled legal professional to take the lead on a varied caseload while mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the wider success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your own caseload of employment law matters from initial instruction to resolution
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients, including attending employment tribunals
- Support data protection and compliance matters where required
- Guide and mentor junior members of the legal team
- Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery
- Stay up to date with changes in employment law and best practices
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ post-qualified experience in employment law
- Strong technical knowledge across all areas of employment law and procedures
- Confidently handling a full caseload independently
- Previous experience in representing clients in tribunals
- Excellent mentoring and leadership skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Ability to work in a collaborative and professional legal environment
