Field Service Engineer
Location - London
Permanent role
Key role and responsibilities for Field Service Engineer:
- Provide exceptional service to all customers
- Root cause removal of issues and feed information for technical bulletins
- Regular PPM maintenance of existing products
- Installing systems and products
- Updating site equipment and carrying out all relevant hardware and software modifications
- Managing and controlling spare parts of products repair and upgrade
- Building long-term relationships with customers
- Ensuring all the items are not out of service for more than 48h
- Report any issues on companies system
- Respond to calls within 2 hours with high first time fix rate
- Ensure all the documentation is recorded accurately
- To undertake any other duties required by management to meet the needs of the business
- Responding to on site customer support requests
- Keep accurate boot stocks and consume parts as per the process
Minimum requirements for Field Service Engineer:
- Full UK driving licence
- Sound electrical / electronic background with recognised engineering qualifications an advantage
- Experience of Networks and server installation and maintenance an advantage
- PC literate with ability to create, modify and maintain MS office documents (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proven organisational skills and self-motivated
- Weekend and evening call out cover on a rota system with other regional engineers
Salary: £37,000 per annum
