Overview

Store Colleague role at GO Outdoors LTD. Position in our strong outdoor retailer; we inspire and equip customers, living values of Team, Responsibility, Passion, Integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, ensuring the best experience, and using the customer service measurement programme.
  • Drive and exceed sales targets using in‑store devices, offering full product range and maximizing add‑on sales.
  • Maintain high visual and merchandising standards – keep shop floor clean, stocked, displays according to brand guidelines.
  • Support overall store operations by assisting other departments, representing the company professionally, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash and card payments.
  • Upsell and cross‑sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain stock levels, keep shelves organized and appealing.
  • Address and resolve customer queries professionally.
  • Collaborate with sales assistants and team members to achieve store targets.

Role Objectives and KPIs

  • Contribute to achieving or exceeding monthly sales targets.
  • Drive additional KPIs – Units, Conversion, ATV, UPT.
  • Achieve upselling or cross‑selling targets.
  • Maintain high Net Promoter Score.
  • Ensure shop floor stock is fully replenished.

Skills & Experience

  • Positive attitude in fast‑paced, customer‑focused retail environment.
  • Enthusiastic about challenges as opportunities for learning.
  • Confident interpersonal and communication skills, engaging customers.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
