We are recruiting Cover Supervisors for primary and secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent to support with day-to-day and short-term absences. Whether you are a graduate, experienced Cover Supervisor, or someone with transferable experience working with young people - this could be the ideal role for you.
- Supervising and delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive, productive learning environment
- Supporting pupils with tasks, maintaining classroom routines and ensuring safeguarding policies are followed
- Working across a variety of subjects or year groups, depending on the school and age phase
- Confident and reliable individuals with strong communication skills
- Previous school-based experience or experience working with children or young people in other settings
- Good classroom management and the ability to engage learners of all ages
- Comfortable working flexibly across EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4
- Flexible working patterns to fit around your schedule
