Role Overview
Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our MLS team and will be a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months.
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal or Senior Paralegal to join our Cyber, Data & Privacy specialist team within MLS. The successful candidate will report into a Delivery Manager and support our MLS Delivery teams in ensuring that we are delivering a world class legal service to our practice groups and external clients.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working as a subject matter expert, this role will support our lawyers with a variety of more complex technical work in their area of expertise as well as client relationship activity
- Leading delivery of small-medium scale projects and lower complexity matters in collaboration with LPMs and/or practice group fee earners
- Supervise and quality check the work of more junior colleagues
- Mentor junior members of the team and support their upskilling
- Support the Senior Specialist and the Delivery Manager to develop and implement new Cyber, Data & Privacy work services and solutions
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview

- Demonstrable experience of working on Cyber, Data & Privacy work/matter types including DSARs, ROPAs and cyber breaches
- Broad experience of working in a large, commercial law firm
- Understanding of levels of service and technical capability required to support demand
