Joining us as the Logistics Project Coordinator, you will support the Group Logistics change programme and full project life cycle from conception through to delivery, ensuring all change activity is delivered on time and in budget in the cluster.
About the role:
- Reporting into the Head of Logistics Development, you will support the project management team on the implementation of all logistics change activity, as outlined in the logistics strategic plan across all Nomad Foods markets.
- You will cover programme governance as well as supporting the project team to ensure all projects are completed to the required standard.
- Managing the critical paths of all projects; updating daily and where required to ensure that all projects deliver against agreed milestones and next steps.
- Aligning with the key stakeholders and working parties for each of the projects.
- Supporting the Logistics Project Managers and wider logistics functions in delivering a pipeline of projects, to optimise the Group Logistics network.
- Work with key stakeholders to manage interfaces between projects to ensure accurate and appropriate communication to all stakeholders.
- Ensuring a good working knowledge of all the main projects and be able to deputise weekly critical path meetings on behalf of logistics project managers.
- Chairing meetings where relevant with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring project documentation (RAID, RACI etc) is kept up to date and accurate.
About you:
- We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator, ideally someone who has Supply Chain/Logistics understanding, within a FMCG environment.
- You are a confident communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders of all levels.
- We look for people who are focused on getting results, embrace learning and bring positive energy, combining initiative with a sense of teamwork and collaboration.
- Previous experience of working in a similar role, you have an understanding of PM methodologies and life cycle. (A Project Management qualification would be desirable).
- Experience supporting projects with complex 3rd party logistics providers and contractual agreements.
- Used to supporting multiple projects at the same time, you are organised, able to prioritise and can work to tight deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and conscientious of the stakeholder experience.
- The ability to operate effectively in a matrix organisation and influence key stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
