Studio B are looking for an enthusiastic Operations Assistant to join our team for an initial 3-month FTC (with possibility to go permanent) in London! Studio B is an award-winning digital-first studio, creating branded entertainment for some of the world’s most iconic brands - including Disney, Lego, Netflix, Google, and many more. Please note: this is an initial 3 month FTC (fixed-term contract) position.
The Role: We’re looking for our very first Operations Assistant who will support the day-to-day operations of Studio B by providing administrative and logistical assistance to the operations team. Reporting into the Director of Operations, this role ensures smooth workflow and operational efficiency through effective coordination, communication, and support across departments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Work closely across Operations and Production to ensure both teams are supported and running efficiently.
- Assist our Operations Director with general administrative duties, including procurement support across our internal onboarding platforms, coordination with our fractional HR and accounts partners, and other ad hoc tasks as required.
- Support the setup and management of our new studio space - including sourcing and purchasing new equipment and supplies.
- Research and compare suppliers to find the best options balancing quality, value, and functionality.
- Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams to keep day-to-day operations seamless.
- Coordinate with our IT support team to help resolve any internal tech issues when they arise.
- Oversee meeting room bookings and ensure spaces are prepped, clean, and presentable for team and client use.
- Organise studio cleaning schedules and coordinate with cleaning providers to maintain a tidy, professional environment.
- Keep the kitchen fully stocked and tidy - including ordering coffee, tea, snacks, drinks, and ensuring fridges are stocked with fresh options.
- Assist with organising the space for client meetings, ensuring a polished and welcoming setup.
- Support on studio events and fun days, helping to plan and run activities that bring the team together.
- Handle incoming calls and assist with general studio enquiries.
- Support with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as needed.
