You will also have access to our Research and Development Academy, designed to develop our team and allow you to grow in our great organisation.
About The Role: PLM will transform the way that Reckitt operates, across business units and across functions. The purpose of PLM is to radically transform the way Reckitt hold and manage data within Health and Hygiene, ranging from the technological systems we will use, to how we define an item and how we use it. PLM will bring together global R&D, procurement, supply and marketing to speak the same language, use one source of truth, aid strategic business decision making and make multi-million-pound savings. As the PLM Programme Lead, you will be at the helm of this transformation. You’ll drive the delivery of a high-impact, cross-functional programme that will enable smarter decision-making, unlock operational efficiencies, and deliver multi-million-pound savings. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of how we innovate, operate, and grow.
Your responsibilities:
- Programme Leadership: you will own the end-to-end delivery of the PLM programme, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, scope, and timelines.
- Governance & Planning: establishing and maintaining robust governance structures, project charters, risk registers, and delivery plans.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: acting as the central connector across R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, IT&D, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement: engaging and influencing senior leaders to secure resources, drive alignment, and maintain momentum.
- Financial Oversight: partnering with Finance and IT&D to manage budgets, cost centres, and resource forecasting with discipline and transparency.
- Risk & Issue Management: serving as the escalation point for programme risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.
- Performance Tracking: monitoring progress against milestones, oversee tollgate reviews, and ensure delivery excellence across all workstreams.
- Team Accountability: leading and inspiring a high-performing team, holding workstream leads accountable for delivery and fostering a culture of ownership and agility.
The experience we’re looking for:
- Experience in R&D or Commercial Operations, ideally within a regulated environment (e.g., FDA, EMA).
- Hands-on PLM programme delivery, with a proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Deep understanding of GxP standards, regulatory affairs, and supply chain/manufacturing processes.
- Strong background in IT&D delivery frameworks and experience working with third-party vendors.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Planisware, Agile).
- Prince2 or PMP certification is essential.
- Exceptional influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in contract management and vendor governance.
- Degree-level education in a relevant field (e.g., Science, Engineering, Business).
- Formal project management qualification (Prince2, PMP, or equivalent).
