The role If youreversatile, self-motivated and driven, with experience in the Grounds Maintenance industry or other similar, strenuous and outdoor work, join Southern Housing as a Grounds Maintenance Operative. As a part of our Sussex team, based out of Haywood Way in Hastings, you will help Southern Housing maintain our estates and neighbourhoods across the County by completing works including: Grass Cutting. Seasonal Pruning. Weed Control and Invasive Plant Management. Landscaping. Jet Washing. Graffiti Clearance. Waste Management. Effective monitoring of our Water Ways. Garden Clearances. You will be provided with all the required tools, uniform and PPE to complete the role safely and effectively, plus dedicated fleet vehicles for use during working hours.
