Welding Inspector

We are looking to expand our QC Team at our Port Clarence facility. We have an immediate vacancy for a welding inspector on our dayshift working. The successful applicant will be working on multiple prestigious UK Fabrication projects based at our facility in Middlesbrough. Due to the nature of the work security clearance will be required and eligibility will be dependant on nationality or previously held nationalities.

Main Responsibilities being:

• Carrying out weld inspection
• Coordinating NDT operations
• Creating & Compiling NDT report
• Completing the Weld History Log
• Reporting issues to project teams and Senior Welding Inspector
• Carrying out shop floor Audits where specified.

Qualifications

• 3.1 CSWIP Inspection

Hours of work

Standard hours – 37.5hrs with overtime based on project schedule.

Monday to Friday – 0700 hrs – 1500 hrs.

• Basic Dayshift– £27.04
• OT1 – £40.56
• OT2 – £54.08
