About the Role

As a COHP, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering and shaping high-quality occupational health services. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment across our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical advice and conduct assessments via telephone, video, or on-site.
  • Act as IRMP and support Ill Health Retirement (IHR) decisions.
  • Lead clinical audits and ensure consistency in medical advice.
  • Liaise with GPs, specialists, clients, and pension scheme managers.
  • Support onboarding and validation of OH professionals.
  • Influence strategic direction and represent OH at key meetings.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • GMC-registered medical practitioner
  • Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DipOccMed), or Associate or Member of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (AFOM/MFOM)

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Occupational Health role
  • Skilled in managing complex or potentially litigious cases
  • Proficient in using medical record systems
