About the role

We’re looking for an organised and detail-focused Payroll Executive to support the smooth running of our payroll function across all seven properties. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our team members are paid accurately and on time, assisting with data entry, payroll processing, reporting, and compliance with HMRC regulations. Working closely with our Finance team and reporting to the Payroll Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment while contributing to the continued success of our business. The role is hybrid, with the flexibility to work from home and occasional office days as required. It can be offered on a 32 or 40 hour per week basis, depending on individual needs. To support occasional on-site work, we’re looking for someone who is based within reasonable commuting distance of one of our hotel locations – Glencoe/Ballachulish, Crieff, or Peebles.

What we need from you

  • Previous experience in a payroll role, preferably within hospitality, retail, or a similar fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of UK payroll processes, HMRC requirements, pensions, and basic compliance
  • Confident using payroll and HR systems
  • Strong Excel skills and good general IT literacy
  • Great attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • A team player with good communication skills and a helpful, proactive approach
