Who You Are
You’re an organised, proactive and emotionally intelligent individual who’s passionate about people, operations, and building great workplace experiences. You love the idea of helping a fast-growing legal tech scale-up run smoothly by making people processes more seamless, efficient, and human. You’re comfortable juggling tasks across recruitment, HR administration, systems, and employee engagement—and you bring care and attention to everything you do. You’ll work directly with the Head of People on a broad range of initiatives—from onboarding and culture to systems and compliance—offering you great exposure to strategic People Ops in a scale-up environment.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration & Coordination
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and ensure data accuracy
- Support with drafting contracts, offer letters, references, and other key documentation
- Manage key HR calendars, reminders, and internal communications
- Recruitment Support
- Coordinate interview logistics and communications with candidates and hiring managers
- Assist with job advert creation, posting, and applicant tracking
- Support in screening applications and scheduling interview stages
- Onboarding & Offboarding
- Organise new starter onboarding, including equipment logistics, welcome communications, and orientation schedules
- Support leaver processes, including exit interviews and documentation
- Track probation milestones and support managers in review processes
- Culture & Engagement
- Help coordinate internal events, monthly socials, and recognition schemes
- Monitor and manage employee feedback surveys
- Support inclusion and wellbeing initiatives
- Systems, Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain and improve HR documentation, policies, and templates
- Support audit preparation, reporting, and compliance with employment law
- Help administer systems including the HRIS, LMS, and document automation tools
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong administrative or coordination experience (HR or office admin experience a plus)
- Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The desirable candidate will have:
- Exposure to HR or recruitment processes in a start-up, scale-up or tech environment
- Familiarity with UK employment processes and documentation
- Experience with tools like Notion, BambooHR, or Monday.com
