Responsibilities:
- Provide confidential advice, support and guidance to site managers and employees in accordance with company policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
- Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from the site.
- Provide/collate HR data or information for the HR Manager and senior management team for reporting, analysis and action planning purposes.
- Actively represent the HR team at local site meetings, ensuring any HR actions are completed in a time-efficient manner.
- Support the HR Manager with the implementation of all Employee Engagement Survey action plans.
- Engage in promoting and 'living' Martin Brower values and our care culture.
- Organise and assist with the delivery of training and development activities.
- Take ownership and responsibility for the case management of all Employment Relations.
- Provide expert advice on specific Employee Relations issues and coach managers in the appropriate actions to take.
- Assist site managers with absence case management.
- Co-ordinate and assist with recruitment and selection activities.
- Administer corporate driven HR projects and maintain compliance with SWA (Supplier Workplace Accountability).
Qualifications:
- Strong employee relations experience at all levels.
- CIPD qualified or part CIPD qualified would be advantageous.
- Previous HR administrative experience is essential.
- Proven experience of providing HR advice and guidance in line with company policies, procedures and legislation.
