You’re writing website copy that gets customers excited to book their next adventure. At Whilton Mill, no two days are the same—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We’re home to grassroots motorsport, household-name events, and a high-performance team that lives and breathes action. We’ve welcomed thousands to major events like Petrolheadonism’s Calvin Car Diary, and we’re proud to say we’re one of the UK’s busiest outdoor kart circuits.

Now we’re looking for a Social Media & Website Manager to help tell our story—and we want someone who’s ready to create, share, and inspire.

Your Mission

This is a pivotal role in our sales and marketing team, reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director. You’ll help create the strategy, then bring it to life by curating, creating, and publishing engaging content across our platforms, keeping our loyal audience hyped and pulling in fresh faces.

Whether you’re out on track capturing a championship-winning move, behind the scenes with event crews, or shaping our digital presence from home, you’ll help us stand out online and in real life.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, produce and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Keep our website fresh, fast, and user-friendly using a CMS like WordPress or similar
  • Film and edit short-form video, shoot high-energy photos, and write captivating captions
  • Create blog posts, newsletters, and landing pages that drive traffic and bookings
  • Track performance with analytics tools, reporting wins and areas to grow
  • Be part of the action—1 evening per week and 2 weekend days per month required

What You’ll Need

  • Has experience creating and managing content for social and web
  • Can film, edit and post short videos that stop people scrolling
  • Writes clean, creative copy in a tone that engages and converts
  • Understands how to use data and feedback to improve content
  • Has a strong eye for aesthetics and detail
  • Can use design tools—experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.) is a big plus
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
  • Wants to grow their skills with training, mentoring and hands-on experience

The Essentials

  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship (unlimited right to work)
  • Salary: £28,000–£32,000 depending on experience
  • Hours: 40 hours per week (typically Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm)
  • Location: Mostly on-site (1–2 days WFH may be considered)
  • Evenings/Weekends: Some required (1 evening/week + 2 weekend days/month)
  • Pension: Company contribution included
  • Perks: Training & development, free and discounted karting and experiences, a fun, supportive and fast-moving work environment

Our Values

  • Our team make the difference
  • First impressions count
  • Safety comes first
  • We take pride in our work
  • Respect matters
  • Accountability drives performance
