Overall purpose of role: Partner with the business to deliver to a Consistently Excellent standard, including driving our strategy, operating with effective control, delivering “lights-on” activities and executing the change and regulatory agenda. Simply put, enabling our business to deliver for our clients, communities and each other.
Support the Head of Coverage and their leadership team to:
- Maximise business performance through focusing on improved returns, sustainable growth, an excellent control environment, exceeding client satisfaction and having highly engaged colleagues.
- Set and own the strategy for UK Corporate Banking and as a core component of the Corporate Banking Executive Forum optimise the business opportunities for collaboration across Group & Corporate Banking.
- Lead and engage the UK Corporate Banking national teams across all segments to deliver the CB UK strategy. Drive inclusion and improvement of our talent bench-strength.

Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and inspire the UKCB Coverage Business Management team, engaging with senior stakeholders from across UKCB and the group to achieve UKCB objectives.
- Ensure support for all “lights on“ activity including overall governance and support to the Head of the Business in achieving their objectives.
- Drive Business Performance, Efficiency and Strategy execution.
- Support the Head of the Business and key stakeholders in driving financial and cost performance.
- Define, track and report on strategy execution.
- Deliver Chief of Staff support for Head of Coverage and leadership team.
- Co-ordinate engagement on Real Estate/Premises strategy, resource allocation, MTP and SI.

Accountabilities:
- Development of strategic direction for relationship teams, including the implementation of up to date methodologies and processes.
