You’ll join a genuinely friendly and supportive team, you’ll be encouraged to develop your career at Walker Morris, and you’ll gain valuable management experience. The team are Tier 1 ranked in both Chambers and Legal 500 and will provide you access to quality work for both national and international clients. You’ll be exposed to a variety of work including complex employment, HR and business immigration matters for private and listed companies operating in a broad range of sectors, including manufacturing, food and drink, technology, sport, retail, healthcare and education.
For example, the team has recently been involved in:
- Advising Hovis on diversity initiatives, recruitment, and disputes, including industrial action and union negotiation.
- Advising a manufacturing business on a significant strike which affected their operations and the impact on the workforce.
- Advising a number of Premier League and EFL football clubs on managerial appointments, employment litigation and senior exits.
We act for a variety of national and international clients, including:
- Starbucks
- A global drinks manufacturer
- A number of Premier League and EFL football clubs
- Hallmark Cards Plc
- Chipotle Mexican Grill
Ideally, you’ll be at least 5 years PQE and looking to progress your career in a leading full-service firm based outside of London where the decisions about your future are made by those you see and work with – day in, day out. What we offer:
- Hybrid working – we understand work-life balance is important, we are open to discussing your hybrid working preferences.
- Annual Leave – minimum of 25 days per year, increasing to 31 days with length of service. Also – buy/sell holidays up to 5 days per year.
- Bonus Scheme – our annual bonus scheme recognises outstanding contributions to the firm and our ambitions. All solicitors are eligible, subject to meeting the criteria of the scheme with opportunity to earn up 35% bonus.
- Paid Sabbatical Scheme – accrue up to 2 weeks’ sabbatical over a 2-year period, or 4 weeks’ sabbatical over 3 years.
