Join a forward-thinking team as a Mobile Lead Engineer, where your deep mobile expertise and architectural skills will help shape the future of a fast-growing product used by thousands. This is a UK based role, hybrid, with 1 day a month in the London HQ.
We are looking for a Mobile Lead Engineer who is passionate about building high-quality mobile experiences and is comfortable balancing hands-on technical leadership with mentoring a small team. You will be spending roughly 60-70% of your time hands-on - architecting solutions, contributing to design decisions, and helping drive technical excellence - and the rest leading a growing team (currently 2 engineers, soon to be 3).
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong background in native mobile development - iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java).
- Familiarity or experience with React Native, which is what is currently used across all mobile projects.
- Proven ability to lead small teams, set direction, and mentor junior engineers.
- Comfortable driving mobile architecture, setting standards, and leading technical discussions.
