We are seeking two Finance Assistants to join our friendly and busy Financial Operations Team: one based in Income Operations and one in Accounts Payable.
You will provide a high-quality customer service, handling financial queries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner.
- In Income Operations: Your tasks will include allocation of receipts and payments, setting up and maintaining Direct Debit & recurring card payments for collecting tuition fees and accommodation, reconciling the University's bank accounts and Financial Compliance.
- In Accounts Payable: Your tasks will include the timely processing of supplier invoices and making payments to staff and students in accordance with the University's policies, processes and deadlines, resolving invoice payment queries and maintaining supplier accounts.
About you: You will be self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative to meet time-critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You should be a pro-active team player who brings an enthusiastic, flexible and helpful attitude to work. Good all-round experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable is essential, within an environment requiring high levels of organisation and accuracy. Experience in the Higher Education sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
Where is this role based? These posts are based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed.
