Denyon Homes is in search of a Human Resources Generalist to assist our Administration department. We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, understands the importance of accuracy and attention to detail, and exhibits good decision-making and strong judgment. Applicants should enjoy helping people and be comfortable working in a busy office environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding new employees and offboarding departing employees.
  • Conduct new employee orientation.
  • Assist in development, implementation and improvement of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Assist in compliance with labor laws.
  • Support management team in performance review process.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Assist in managing and/or administering employee benefit programs.
  • Administration of company insurance plans.
  • Oversee front-office receptionist (and assist when needed with greeting walk-in customers and answering phones).
  • Assist in organizing employee meetings and events.
  • Oversee company safety programs.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Teams).
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organization and analytical skills.
  • Superb attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Mathematical skills, including arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Human Resources.
  • Professional certification from the SHRM or similar organization.
  • Related college coursework and/or associate degree in a related field.

Compensation: $22 - $28 hourly
