My client is expanding their boat sales operation and has a new and exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join this close-knit team working across the Waterside Marinas. You will be a self-motivated individual with a good knowledge of boats and great administrative skills. Previous experience of selling boats is not a pre-requisite; however, experience in selling and the right attitude and approach to excellent customer service is a must. Flexibility is key as the working week will be 5 days over 7. This role is covering a number of the marinas in the Midlands; therefore, a full UK driving license is essential. An excellent remuneration package consisting of basic and uncapped commission is available to the right person.
Key Skills:
- IT skills are essential, emails, Excel & Word
- Excellent communication skills, including a good telephone manner
- Ability to work across a designated region
- Experience within a customer-facing environment
- Good negotiation ability
- Approachable character who is able to work within a team and alone
- Knowledge of narrowboats is not essential but a love for boats is advantageous
