The company: Through the power of AI and Big Data, this company has developed a number of data-driven tools and platforms aimed at delivering a transparent financial solution, focusing purely on sustainable investment.   • A Data Provider: Assessing the performance and sustainability of companies worldwide.
  • AI: An advisory and technology company with an AI engineer for forecasting investment opportunities.
  • Asset Management: Investment management company investing in sustainable equities.
  • They focus on R&D of AI, ML, Data, Finance and sustainability.

You will be based in the client’s London office. There is also the option for Home Office, but you will be required to travel to the office when needed, so being located within a few hours of Central London would be hugely beneficial.

The Job:

  • Own CI/CD pipelines
  • Own Kubernetes platform and lead roadmap of improvements
  • Identify tools, patterns and best practices
  • Ensuring scalable, automated and secure systems
  • Design & architect software
  • Developing infrastructure as code to ensure synergy across platforms
  • Design and implement monitoring, logging, and tracing, ensure observability and alerting are in place
  • Setting up security best practices to maintain platform and data

The candidate:

  • GCP – as much as possible!! (GKE, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Bigtable/Bigquery, IAM, Container registry, KSM)
  • Kubernetes – as much as possible!! (GKE, HPA, gRPC, Multi-cluster communication, service meshes, control plane, ingress controllers)
  • Tooling experience Docker / Experience with containerisation and deployment of reliable, highly available scalable APIs and ETL processes
  • CI/CD experience
  • Terraform or Ansible
  • Monitoring tools and best practices
  • Working knowledge of networking
