I'm looking for a Planning Solicitor with between NQ and 3 years' PQE to join a growing team in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career in a supportive and highly experienced environment, working on a wide variety of interesting and complex planning matters in a highly regarded firm.

In this role, you'll be part of a dedicated team, where you'll get exposure to both contentious and non-contentious planning work. You'll be involved in:

  • Advising on highways matters and compulsory purchase
  • Drafting and negotiating complex Section 106 agreements
  • Judicial review and footpath/highway closures
  • Infrastructure agreements and village green issues

There's also plenty of opportunity to get involved in business development and client-facing work from an early stage. You will receive support as you grow your confidence and establish your own network within the sector.

You will be part of a highly regarded planning team led by nationally recognised partners. They are known for their pragmatic, commercial advice and close working relationships with clients. Whether it's general planning matters, strategic advice for complex developments, or detailed infrastructure agreements, they take pride in offering clear, focused support.
