POSITION PURPOSE
Within Brand Standards, effectively managing the day-to-day running of the Grand Tea Lounge & Lobby Bar and overseeing the smooth operation of meetings or events booked in the Trump Boardroom. This includes, but is not limited to, rostering, manpower forecasting, revenue management, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, inventory, and supply management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead the team by setting a positive example, rewarding or performance managing as appropriate.
- Effectively manage overtime, lieu time, holidays as required by the business and within the budgeted allowance.
- Continuously review and improve internal operations methods in own Department and suggest to other Departments how they might assist in general improvements through the appropriate forum.
- Generate new ideas for service and products that will maintain a competitive and leading-edge over our competitors.
- Maintain knowledge of all bar standards, quality presentation, service and products, and local health and sanitation standards.
- Be open and friendly with a desire to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Assess and meet the guest's needs and expectations.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Effective communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment at Head Waiter or Assistant Outlet Manager Level or above.
- Ability to analyze financial information, prepare budgets, and monitor costs including payroll.
- Lead a team by example, training, motivating, and mentoring to achieve goals.
- Define productivity standards with quality requirements and methods to achieve them.
